Dashboard 5-Second Test

Format: Look at a dashboard for 5 seconds — you should be able to answer "How is the business doing?"

Golden Rule: A dashboard should answer one question within 5 seconds.

Review Checklist:

• Is the most important number the largest and most prominent?
• Is the trend direction immediately obvious (up/down)?
• Do colors have meaning (green = good, red = attention)?
• Are there no unnecessary decorations?
• Is the time range clear?
